I recognized S.John Launer immediately as he convincingly played the Judge on numerous Perry Mason episodes.All the original actors from the fifties and sixties who I grew up watching.

Lee Marvin, A Marine and Genuine war hero. Wounded by machine gun fire at the Battle of Saipan. He spent a full year in a hospital recovering from his wounds. His grave at Arlington, of course mentions nothing of his post war acting career. Tom Laughlin was nothing but an F-ing commie.

Again sorry I had to bail on the chat! This would have been awesome to watch with the group! So some thoughts: Chip was really shipping the snarky attitude here, wasn’t he? I have to say, that crane shot in the missile room was really impressive! Shooting the room from a high angle should have been used more. MUTANT! Hey Crane said they’d come in shooting! What a fibber! I love that ‘crawled thru the air vents’ was an instant go-to instead of ‘this guy is probably the creature’ by default. Nelson knew all along, didn’t he? Wait! The guy wasn’t the snowman? What a twist! Oh NOW they have an alarm button! I great big almost Batman-esq boxed button. I will note that at no point are we seeing this experimental station or how it’s doing its thing. They must have blown the budget on the crane shot… 😁

I never did see this episode in the 60’s. Best TV shows ever back then. Not today which is too bad.

Why did they have Lee Marvin working alone when he should have had extra cops helping them when there was a dangerous situation like this and why didn't anyone check for fingerprints in the teacher's room didn't they do that back then I thought they did on dragnet but I guess him squad didn't look for fingerprints.

The increase in activity raised his metabolism rate and exhausted the alien drug faster… And just in time from the look of it!

Can I just say that although some are quite extraordinarily weird most are wonderfully entertaining all of them are precious, even the Lobster, it just goes to show the actor's were simply superb at making it all so believable!☺
